Culture in Minorca.
In terms of culture, Minorca has much to offer. Within the large selection of cultural events on the island, those related to the nautical world clearly stand out. Minorca, and to be exact the port of Mahon, is the ideal place for boat races and other types of nautical competition, being as it is totally prepared for this type of cultural activity.
As well as nautical events, the island is a stopping-point for many active musicians, art or natural history exhibitions and one-off events of all types. Minorca enjoys a rich historical heritage; the landscape is full of monuments from the talayotic age, the majority of which are accessible to the general public.
